Hugh Roberts

Hugh is a current 10 year professional soccer player in the United Soccer League. He has spent time with the Richmond Kickers, Bethlehem Steele, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Charlotte Independence and now currently plays at Monterey Bay Fc, where he is captain for the club. He graduated from George Mason university with a Bachelor’s degree in business management.

He was one of the founding members of the United Black Players ( known as the Black Players Alliance) in 2020. Over the years the group continues to effect positive change for minorities in the game. He believes this group Can help grow the game for minorities in this country and hopes to keep creating positive change in this game for us.

Hugh currently serves as the President of the organization.
